Visual Sound Visual Volume Pedal

Visual Sound Visual Volume Pedal Reviews

Other Picture

Visual Sound Visual Volume Pedal Feature

  • Die-cast aluminum housingBlue and red LEDsActive and Passive modesClean boost pre-amp in active modeTwo inputs and outputs for mono or stereo useTuner Out jack for silent tuning
With the die-cast aluminum Visual Volume, the rocker position is indicated by a column of ten LEDs. With the rocker fully back (toe up, heel down) all of the lights are off and so is the volume. As you rock your foot forward, the indicators light up one by one until all 10 are lit. When all lights are on, you're at maximum volume. To find your level at a glance, LEDs 1-4 are blue, 5 is red, 6-9 are blue again, and 10 is red.Visual Volume recommends using a high-quality regulated 9VDC adapter like the 1 Spot. Boss PSA, Dunlop ECB-03, Ibanez AC-109, and Morley 9V also acceptable. The Visual Volume pedal is easy to service. If you ever wear out the control pot, Visual Volume has a kit to restore your pedal to like new service. Many users are even able to make the switch themselves. The Visual Volume Pedal operates on 9V battery or an optional power supply. It will function passively without power though the LEDs will be inoperative.Inputs and Outputs Input 1 and Output 1 are all you need for mono volume control. Tuner Out: Even with the volume all the way down, the tuner out still sends volume to your tuner, allowing you to tune silently without switching any cables around. If you don't plug into Input 2, both Outputs send the signal from Input 1, so you can plug into 2 different amps at the same time. Plug into inputs 1 & 2, and the Visual Volume becomes a stereo volume pedal. Great if you put a Stereo Chorus pedal in front of the Visual Volume. Or, plug 2 guitars into the Visual Volume and you can make quick guitar changes without unplugging. Other adjustments With the removal of the bottom plate on your pedal you can set the pedal for active or passive mode, adjust pedal tension, and in active mode, individually set the gain for each input.

Eminence Red Coat Series Ramrod Guitar Speaker

Eminence Red Coat Series Ramrod Guitar Speaker Reviews

Eminence Red Coat Series Ramrod Guitar Speaker Feature

  • Very loud, gutsy, and meaty tone
  • Singing highs and nice, clear overtones
  • Eminence is committed to quality and guarantees all of its speakers for 7 years
Very loud, gutsy, and meaty tone with singing highs and nice, clear overtones. Pick Your Sound Electric guitars, guitar amplification, and the birth of Rock-n-Roll in the 1950's collectively established a new use for loudspeakers. Speaker choices were limited in those days and amplifier manufacturers had to purchase products that were common to other applications. Usually, this meant a low-power speaker, often with an Alnico magnet, and limited cone and coil travel. Due to the nature of the speaker's construction, the sound of the guitar and amplifier combination was impacted by the speaker design. Amplified guitar was a bit more aggressive duty than most other speaker applications at the time and the speakers were frequently challenged in terms of their mechanical movement and linearity. Guitarist learned how to control these non-linearities and use the resulting tonal characteristics to their advantage. Speaker break-up became cool and was a desired feature by most guitarists. The great guitar tones we know now are a result of those events. Although there are a multitude of distinctive guitar speaker tones available today, they can be broken down into two main categories. We have Marshall and Celestion to thank for the distinctively "British tones" that we are so familiar with. Fender, Peavey, and SLM (Crate/Ampeg) worked with speaker companies like Eminence, Oxford, CTS, JBL, and Electrovoice to establish tones that are distinctively "American". Eminence is proud to present the Patriot and Redcoat series of guitar speakers. Incorporating both British and American cone technology into speakers that we manufacture in the USA gives us the ability to provide you with virtually any tone you desire. Be it British or American, clean or dirty, big bass or screaming highs, we have a speaker that will allow you to "Pick Your Sound". Both channels offer an independent 3-band EQ, Egnater's BRIGHT and TIGHT switches and a Wattage Selector switch that lets you choose between an intimate 10W or a wall-shaking 65W.
